Admission is open to all earnest students of good character irrespective of caste and creed. Applicants belonging to SC/ST categories will have reservation as per rules. They have to produce necessary documents to prove their identity along with the applications. The number of trainees in each trade is restricted to 19 + 2 SC/ST. Admission will be granted only after interview and subject to the age limit between 14 and 40 years.
The minimum qualification for admission to trainees shall be pass in the SSLC examination. Those who have higher qualification will be given preference. Only those applicants who have a good standard of general education, aptitude for trades and good conduct will be admitted.
A trainee seeking admission to the training institute shall apply to the principal requesting a copy of prospectus and application form remitting a registration fee Rs. 100/- which will not be refunded whether the applicant is admitted or not.
The eligible applicants have to undergo an interview and aptitude test for the trade they seek for. If the applicant is selected, intimation card will be issued assigning a date for admission. The applicant should join the institute on that date itself. He/she has to produce the original testimonials of
qualifications (SSLC Certificate, Transfer Certificate, Conduct certificate) at the time of admission and has to remit the prescribed fee.
*Fees once paid will not be refunded. Any candidate, once admitted to any course is required to pay the entire fees for the two years, even if he she discontinues the course.
* The selected candidates and their parents are required to read the prospectus thoroughly and sign a declaration of compliance with the rules and code of conduct stipulated by the institution before payment of fees.
Self discipline is of prime importance for anyone to succeed. Therefore, discipline in the training Institute is necessarily strict though kind and paternal. The co-operation of the parents is very importance in this matter.
1.All the trainees should be properly and neatly dressed and use the prescribed uniform in the training institute.
2.The behavior of trainees both within and outside the training institute should be gentle.
3.For the promotion and for appearance for AITT examination in every semester a trainee should have a minimum of 80% actual attendance.
4.Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, neglect of homework, disobedience and disrespect towards teachers and members of the staff will justify dismissal.
5.The institute is for learning and it is a place of formation. So the moral values cannot be bypassed. Hence, the trainees are strictly forbidden from take part in strikes, political of other organization likely to result in violence or communal disturbance. Those who take part in such activities will be dismissed.
6.Monthly test will be conducted at every working day of the month and everyone should attend the same.
7.Parents are expected to co-operate in the work of the training institute by enforcing regularity, punctuality and discipline and by taking an abiding interest in their children’s progress.
8.Smoking, chewing and use of liquor are prohibited in the Campus and those who violate may get suspension or dismissal based on the decision of the disciplinary committee.
9.Mobile phone is not permitted inside the coll. If one violates this rule he/she may be given suspension with a final warning for once. The suspension may be withdrawn only after paying a fine together with due explanation to the Principal. On second instance he/she may be given chance to continue studies only as per the decision of the disciplinary committee.
10.Original Certificates submitted at the time of admission will not be returned to students, during their course of study. Students are therefore directed to keep attested true copies of the same before submitting the original for admission. The certificates will be returned to them only at the end of the course.
11.Students who need their SSLC certificate in case of utmost urgency may apply for it to the office prior to one week and they will be issued the same only after paying the total fee in advance.
12.Students who need any documents from office should apply for the same prior to atleast one week.
13.Students who need any certificates or attestations from Principal or office have to apply for it every day before 10.00 am to the office and they may collect it by afternoon.
14.Ragging, even of any simple nature is totally banned and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable to be punished as per the rules of the nation.
